Governor Terry E. Branstad Iowa State Fair Scholarship Awarded

The Governor Terry E. Branstad Iowa State Fair Scholarship recognizes outstanding Iowa high school seniors who have actively participated in the Iowa State Fair.  This year, Iowa College Aid has designated Kethryn Eyheralde and Kaitlyn Boyer to receive a $2,000 scholarship during the 2016-17 academic year. Kethryn is from Centerville, IA and will graduate from Moravia High School, and Kaitlyn is from Weldon, IA and will graduate from Clarke Community High School. Both recipients plan to attend Iowa State University in the fall of 2016.

In order to apply for the scholarship, students are required to provide lists of volunteer, community service and extracurricular activities as well as their Iowa State Fair involvement. In addition, applicants must write essays on how the Iowa State Fair has affected their life.
