Iowa Tuition Grant Reports

Applications Received

The Iowa Tuition Grant (ITG) is a state grant program established in 1969 to assist students who attend private postsecondary institutions in Iowa. ITG awards are made on the basis of financial need. Since 2005, when the General Assembly began funding the program separately for non-profit and proprietary institutions, the number of applications received for the ITG has fluctuated from year to year. Each Iowa resident that files a FAFSA and lists an eligible institution on the FAFSA is counted as an application.
