Choosing a College

Do your research so you are sure that the college has everything that you need. You may need to consider the following:

Location
Many colleges and universities have branch campuses or satellite centers. If you find something close to home you may be able to maintain your current employment while taking classes, which can lower your overall education costs.

Cost
Costs are different at every college or university and can include tuition, fees, room and board, books, transportation costs, and personal expenses. The tuition costs will also vary based on the number of courses or credit hours you take each term. There may be financial aid available to help you pay these expenses. Consider all of your options, including financial aid offers, before making any decisions.
