The Iowa College Student Aid Commission guarantees Federal Family Education Loans for nearly 500 lenders. Many of these lenders also provide private loan financing options. The following lenders have signed agreements to participate in the Iowa guaranteed student loan program. This list is intended for informational purposes only. It does not represent a comprehensive list of all Family Federal Education Loan Program (FFELP) lenders that you may wish to consider when making your lender selection. You are not required to choose a lender from this list. You have the right to choose any education loan lender.

Colleges and universities who participate in FFELP often have a list of recommended lenders who have a track record of providing exemplary benefits and service to their students. Please contact your college financial aid office to determine if your college maintains a list of suggested lenders or a list of lenders who have made loans to students for attendance at your college in the past. However, you can choose any participating lender even if they are not on your college's or Iowa College Aid's list.
