Obtaining Student Records for Closed Iowa Colleges
Sometimes students in search of academic records from their enrollment at an institution that has since closed, may encounter difficulties in locating these records. The information below is intended to assist students in locating transcripts and other academic documents from Iowa schools which have closed.

Iowa Code Section 264.1 requires that the trustees or officers of any institution of higher learning, whether incorporated or not, upon going out of existence or ceasing to function as an educational institution must transfer to the office of the registrar of the State University of Iowa complete records of all grades attained by its students.
