The Iowa Clearinghouse for Work-Based Learning Advisory Board was charged with establishing a virtual clearinghouse to expand high-quality, real-world, work-based learning experiences for K-12 students. This is in keeping with the Future Ready Iowa goal of having 70 percent of Iowans with education and training beyond high school by 2025. Launched in 2019, the Iowa Clearinghouse for Work-Based Learning connects students and employers to give students real-world work experience. The Advisory Board meets to collaborate and advise on policies to carry out the governor's vision for the Iowa Clearinghouse for Work-based Learning.
